Our Georgia mountain property for sale is in a prime location for trout fishing enthusiasts. In fact, we have some friends who come visit nearly every year to take advantage of the great trout fishing in the area.
So where do you go? None other than the Toccoa River, of course. There are several spots along the Toccoa to check out. I haven’t been to all of them, but the word is that these are the best around. Don’t just take my word for it, though. Pick up a trout fishing guide by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources the next time you’re in the area.
I’ve heard great things about Rock Creek and Cooper Creek in Fannin County. Rock Creek is very popular from what I understand. I’ve had some luck at Shallowford Bridge over the Toccoa and Horseshoe Bend below the dam on the Toccoa. Horseshoe Bend is a good spot if you want to bring the family, too, because it’s a park with family-friendly amenities such as a playground and restroom facilities.
These are just a few suggestions. The best way to find the best trout fishing is to explore these spots yourself when you come visit our Georgia mountain property, which is available to be shown at anytime. Don’t forget your fishing gear!
