I’m sure you’ve heard of the Seven Wonders of the World. Did you know that there are the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia, located near our North Georgia mountain property for sale? That’s right, the most gorgeous or unusual natural formations, most of which are millions of years old, are available for you to see within driving distance of our mountain property for sale.
The list was first compiled by the state librarian, Ella May Thornton, and it’s changed over time. It now includes Amicalola Falls, Okefenokee Swamp, Providence Canyon, Stone Mountain, Tallulah Gorge, and Warm Springs. I’ve had the opportunity to see most of them and they’re pretty spectacular.
My favorites? It’s hard to choose. Amicalola Falls near Dawsonville, the highest waterfalls in the state, is beautiful. You can approach the falls with an 8-mile hiking trail near the Appalachian Trail. Stone Mountain is the #1 attraction in Georgia, and no wonder! I also enjoy Warm Springs, which is supposed to have healing waters at a temperature year-round of 88 degrees.
When you come visit our North Georgia mountain property for sale, which you can see anytime, make some time to visit one of the state’s natural wonders. You’ll be glad you did.
