When we’re showing our North Georgia mountain property for sale, we get a lot of questions. One of the most popular ones is “Does it snow here?”
North Georgia does get several snowfalls in the winter, but they don’t last very long. Blizzards are very rare, with the last one being in 1993. It sure gets cold though with freezing temperatures at night and near-freezing temperatures during the day in the wintertime. I like the cold weather minus the snow because it gives things a Christmasy air without the pain of having to drive in the snow or shoveling the driveway! Of course, there’s nothing like waking up to a blanket of snow over your property.
If you come visit our North Georgia property for sale during the winter, bring plenty of warm clothes and some snow boots just in case. You never know if it could snow on your visit. Just don’t expect a blizzard!
